How Kalshi BTC 15-minute windows work

A plain-English guide to Kalshi's Bitcoin 15-minute markets and how to read them on StrikeCall.

The window

Kalshi runs a new Bitcoin market every 15 minutes. Each one has a target price. The question is simple: when the window closes, will Bitcoin's price be above the target (YES) or below it (NO)?

How it settles

Kalshi settles each window using a reference Bitcoin price measured right around the close, not just one trade on one exchange. The exact source and method are written in each market's rules on Kalshi. Always read them there before you trade.

The contract prices

YES and NO trade between 1¢ and 99¢. A YES at 80¢ pays $1 if the window closes above the target, so the price shows roughly how likely the market thinks that is. Prices move fast in the last minutes.
